In recognition of continuous, passionate and diligent efforts in DFL legislative leadership to affect change in the 3rd Congressional District, CD3 DFL awards the Changemaker Award to retiring legislative senate leader Melisa Lopez Franzen. Senator Lopez Franzen has distinguished her leadership in the Minnesota Senate Caucus and 3rd Congressional District with her leadership and dedication to changing the representation at all levels and willingness to help reach out to all communities within our boundaries. We will miss Senator Lopez Franzen in the Minnesota Senate but look forward to working with her to continue to affect change.
