Happy Spring, DFLers!

While our Legislators have been busy accomplishing many great things for Minnesotans, we have been hard at work planning for a busy season of community and party building here in the Senate District 50 DFL. As said many times in our monthly central committee meetings - there are no off years! While we may not be knocking on doors to elect our DFL-endorsed candidates this year, there is still a lot to do. We hope you can find time to join us at a community event, or out on the doors for the non-partisan Bloomington municipal and school board elections this fall.

You’re invited to our spring fundraiser!

When: Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Where: 6400 York Av. S., Edina in the Party Room

RSVP: Get your tickets in advance at this link, or pay at the door! $25 adults, and youth are free. Additional donations are accepted with gratitude.

We will have fun for all ages, and even some door prizes. Join us for a fun Saturday evening before your summer activities are in full swing. You can find more info on our website.

July 4: March with us and Dean Phillips for Congress in the Edina 4th of July Parade. Everyone’s Invited! Watch our social media and website for more information once we finalize details with the Dean Team.

August 12: Join us for our annual summer picnic at Bush Lake Park Shelter #2 in Bloomington. We’ll have picnic food, community building, and fun. Follow our website for more information as we get closer to the date.

Are you considering running for local office?

The Minnesota DFL has a Letter of Support process available to non-partisan candidates across the state. While we know these elections are non-partisan, it is still critically important that we elect leaders that share our DFL values to represent us in elections for park districts, watershed districts, school boards, city councils, and more. Local government matters! If you’re running in Edina or Bloomington and want to learn more, you can find information on our website.
